In 1974 I began my love affair with “rock concerts”. To me, “rock” was just
a term used to describe the music I liked. My “rock” consisted of blues,
rhythm and blues, country, folk, punk, hints of jazz and anything in
between. Some of my early concerts included:
Jethro Tull / Black Sabbath / ELO / Poco / Outlaws / Earl
Scruggs Revue / Marshall Tucker Band / Allman Bros. / Crosby & Nash / Eric
Clapton / The Who and of course the Grateful Dead.
The photos on the site are grouped by decade and can be viewed by clicking on the buttons below. The Allman Brothers Band and the Grateful Dead each have their own page. Solo projects are included. All photos contain a brief description which includes the band or event, venue, location and date the photo was taken. |
